I am going to continue posting in this forum, I am just going to be the really cynical and critical one. Thanks for all you've tried to do for the Smuggler profession in the past. Maybe we'll see ya round sometime.

This is exactly the position I find myself in... and it isn't just the state of smuggler, but the general state of the game, the state of professions I play, the state of some of the servers I play (tc in particular) and the overall inability for me to get *ANYTHING* productive communicated anymore.
So I've resigned to stop posting on these boards, hell, its been like a week since i even logged in to them, not even to talk to JF or other red names "gracing" our presence.
Not sure why I even logged in to reply to this, other then the off chance someone on the other side of the fence might run across this and see this as representative of how once helpful and productive people are feeling.
I'll continue to bug things in game (haven't really needed the bug threads in a long time even for TC), I'll let other people bug the red names for answers, and I'll keep my sanity and time intact by not spending more time trying then I'm being rewarded for.
About the only thing I'll miss is the ability to PM correspondents when something in game springs up, or something changed that wasn't expected, but that might just be a price I have to pay.

Call me what you want, may be iddiot or crazy or a mixture of both. But for some reason after the bug fixes, I have a feeling that we willsee smuggling in the game. It may not be the great grand version that the concept threads were, most likely it will be some simple "recycled" version of something else thats in the game already. Im sorry to see you go,I will see you over THERE, but the have been in constant contact with me for the last 4 days after that tuesday tip. Hell i was pissed beyond belief and posted some nasty things. Do i regreat posting them? NO. Am I sorry that i got that mad to post them? YES. When we have the attention of the DEV's I would prefer to have a open dialog, he told us that the concept threads had many good ideas, and that many of them just could NOT be put in to the game with the resources and man power that COULD be devoted to our profession. ok breath read that again. What was not said was that he is going to take as many ideas from the concept threads as can be EASLY QUICKLY immplemented and turn them into a WORKING INGAME version of SMUGGLING.
I have no idea why i believehim as many people have pointed out they have lied and told us thing before. I dont care if you get angry with them, I do get angry also. I dont care if you want to rant and rave, i do also. I dont care if you call me a brown noser, i would gladly take that if it means that they continue having a open dialoge with us and contunue to work with us. I do care if in a thread that open dialog is being tossed back and forth that you NEVATIVLY call them liars and post hudge history threads, After this was done they stoped posting CONCINDENCE?NO
be POSITIVE brother, thats all i ask, be positive that they are now talking to us again, im not asking for much just be positive. Ok now Im officialy Patric Swazy in ROAD HOUSE. well i guess it could be worse, i could be Patric Swazy in DITRY DANCING 2 HAVANA NIGHTS. jsut be positive we will smuggle someday.
This is a big lose to SOE really for you where a positive poster. I don't think SOE understands the assets they are squadering right now. 2 year vets are leaving folks who SHOULD be invaluble to them in testing and improving the game are no longer commenting on the forums.

If you want to re-read JFreemans post, you might see that they arent even close to finish the Smuggler stuff. But hey.. having fantasies is cool, but keep them on your side on dont forcethemdown peoples throat.

It's because JFreeman probably read all the History stuff and realized WE ARE RIGHT, it's been done to us before and there would be NO sense in asking for more "input" and "feedback."
Don't worry, I have a feeling after next week, a thousand accounts will be cancelled at once, and be silenced.
