Thread: Information from Celebration 3 in Indianapolis

Welcome, I just arrived from a nine hundred mile return-trip from my time in Indianapolis for the Star Wars Celebration 3. I hit the LucasArts booth where I talked to Pex and Tiggs about several things. However, since the average time one way for this trip is thirteen hours, I'll fill all of you in on this after I've gotten some sleep.

There'stworeally nice posts in the FanFest section of the forums.They've got tons pictures from C3...


Including a very nice trio of JarJar frozen in carbonite!



"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

I'm surprised Tiggs didn't yell, "Oh no, it's a Smuggler!" and run the other way.


So you didn't get to meet GM? Bummer.

holy softballs!

The "oh no i can't solo anymore" thing especially... although nothing against you at all... just my feeling that there are legit concerns there that have nothing to do with the agruments the loudest few have.

Did you at least grill her on forum bans? =P

Pex is the RP dev. He takes care of all the player event type of stuff. That's why he doesn't have any info.

I was at C3 as well ad hit the Lucasarts booth pretty hard. When I told Tiggs I was a sumggler she started to look for someone else to talk to. :0


I did finally get her and a women named Ronda to chat with me for a bit about the smuggler revamp. They both assured me that we where next inline after the CURB. I of course told them both to not waste their breath on that story again and how many times the sumgglers have heard that we where next after JTL, after the Jedi, after this and after that.


They would not give details about much, but they did hint at the fact that we would get to smuggle soon.


Thats all I could get.


Other then that C3 sucked. Gen Con is a bunch of idiots that could not plan a stright line with a ruler.
