Think about it:
There is a weapon, with a trigger that can only be activated by a certain person. It is dependant on DNA, or whatever.
Why does that prohibit a smuggler from taking a tool-kit to it and making it more powerfull?!
My rant? Allow Smugglers to modify Bio-Linked Weapons.

We should be able to smuggle to.
We can't do a lot of things we SHOULD be able to.

Thats odd, I'll take a peek at it. Can you give me the name of the weapon you were trying to slice?

This refers to all biolinked weapons. I've had to apologize to way too many folks that want their new best gun sliced that it can't be cause of the biolink.

It's in the Smuggler Issues list

Bio-linked items cannot be sliced.
While this appears to have been fixed temporarily (I myself can slice my own biolinked armour, both on live and TC), it has since been broken again, with slicing bio-linked items not being possible.

Blixtev - To reproduce:
Take any bio-linkable weapon or armor (the Knuckles of Katarn, Clone Armor,or any factional armor (Storm Trooper, Scout Trooper, etc.)
Bio-link it.
Try and slice it.
The radial option does not even show up after it has been bio-linked.
PS - While you're in here, Smugglers not being able to Smuggle has been broken for some time now.

Can not slice bio-linked armor friend has the clone armor it's bio-linked to him and I could not slice it. (it's never been sliced)

Grow. Up. It's been 2 years, man. No Smuggle. The set gets lots of other bells and whistles, Smuggler is a decent tree, you got some decent stuff in the CU, pretty much every tree is useful and on top of that, varied - something not a whole lot of other professions can say.
BUT OMG YOU CAN'T TEH SMUGGLEZOR!!!!!! Call the President! Add snarky comments to every Dev post, because god knows, they haven't heard you crying for the past 2 years!
I'd pay good money to have the devs add a Fed Ex quest where you take a package from Bestine to Naboo. Would that make you happy? They can call it Uber Smuggler Content, and you can finally shut up.
