Nice Man! I love my triple threat template! I can pvp pretty well with it. And yes I hate dots to. Usually when I duel i'll try not to allow dots. Because your right, it takes no skill to use dots. Throw em on and let them do the work. I hate it.
Last week when I was running around Cnet with 3 rifleman from my guild (who were TEF riding btw lol, i run around overt 24/7 where ever I go) we killed this guy from a well known pvp guild. Well another guy from that same guild saw what happened and asked to duel me, no DB. I said sure after I debated, thought he was rounding up a group to come smash us. So we start dueling. This guy had Medic, TKM, and Swordsman or Fencer, can'tremember exactly. Me? Just my good old Triple threat. hehe. I used my TKM and he used both of his profs. After 5-10 of dueling and getting no where on the HAM's I pulled out my trusty ole 400+ geo pistol and proceeded to knock him senseless. Duel ended less then a min later lol. I loved it. He was so confident he was going to win. Wrong, soon as he got down to 1/4 left on health and mind he quickly hit endduel and went and hid in the corner.
Being a smuggler rocks haha.

My favorite Smuggler "Ace up the sleeve" trick was my LowBlow macro.
I had that thing set up to equip my favorite pistol, lowblow, and equip the VK again. Trying to kite the TKM? Nothing ran away from me very far.

Triple Mastery: despite that I hate melee and that pistols do no damage, it is a fun combination.
Nothing beats being able to have two full combat professions. You can pick your opponent's poison. Master Smuggler on top of that has tons of perks to boot.

I've always flirted with the idea of the triple threat- but I love my swords for the mind damage I can lay down. Although, with the CURB it might not matter as much anymore

sounds like fun....I have thought of going the triple master route....but I find it too difficult to give up my pike. I know it is a goofy class...but I just like my Master Smuggler/Master Pikeman combo.

Almost Triple Master 1 - 0 Challenger (TKM-pistoleer0040-medic-rifleman(currently grinding) I do not know her full template but she hasn't finished either.
So with a half compeleted template of TKM MS Pistols 0044 I got impatient and began the fight before I got triple master. She wanted to fight me without armour but I would have none of it. So doc buffed we donned our gear meditated and began the fight. Both TKMs we began to apply states and trying to get each other flopping on our backs. She dropped a moun and I dropped a verticupi. She seemed to have the luckas she got me on my back more and I seemingly could not get up off the floor no matter how slowly I hit the stand button. When I did get her on the floor she seemed to stand in one or two tries. It was not looking good for my mind so I popped a second verticpui as well as another brandy which I had space for. I tried a new tactic of the kite, swtiching to my 500 damage geo I ran and last ditched her. Without marksman in pistoleer the misses were terrible and when I did hit they hit her body for great damage but she could heal them with medic. Back to TKM we began to hammer each other again with states, knock downs and down postures. She poked and her mind dropped, my verticupi about to run out so my moun was dropped. The states and head hits took her down quickly, she forced of will only to be taken down again with my flying fists.
Now she had loads of excuses like she did not have the foods I did or the armour I did, Her moun downer kicked in within five mintues of taking it (I explained moun lasts 10 minutes but she was having none of it) Her stomach was bugged and she had sent in CRS tickets. She had alot of excuse some of the valid, like not having as good as equipment or food as me. But I've always said that PvP is 90% eqiupment and preperation and 10% skill. But in the end she was incapped twice not me
She has challenged me again but I'm waiting to finish my template. See how many times I miss with a speed capped last ditch then
Okay I was finaly going to going to go master smuggler master fencer but then I had a conversation with an old friend. Basicaly it went something like this.
Friend(speaking to someone else): Well I can pretty much beat any template out there…
Me(reads the last few sentence and have to jump in): I could probably beat you if kenney wasn’t master smuggler master swordsman.
Friend: Haha
Me: Have you gone against a Triple Master before?
Friend: I use to beat triple masters all the time.
Me: But none of them were me.
Friend: Lol
Friend: I’ve beaten loads of triple masters they are easy.
Me: But that’s because most people don’t know how to fight.
Friend: I’ve beaten TKM/Master Fencers/M Pikemen. And TKM/Mfencers/Mswords…
Me: They aren’t triple masters (This is the smuggler in me, they are stackers. And why would anyone stack those for PvP is beyond me)
Friend: They are all Triple Masters unless I’m behind on the slang….
Me: The original triple master is Master Smuggler TKM master pistoleer, also know as the triple threat. Anything else is just a stacker.
Friend: LMAO I’ve beaten those as well.
Me: Yes but they weren’t me. I know what I’m doing I’ve use to fight every night for 3 months against the best on this server.
(When I say the best it was the time on valcyn about June July when valcyn was known as a hot PvP/GCW server and battles of 40+ people happened every night. Two bases from each faction were taken down and three more put up.)
Friend: Lol I’ve fought on Chilastra which is twice the size against the best. (She then went on about uber DOTs and the likes, which in my opinion in a DUEL is cheap and does not mean your better or more skilled. If used on me I'll use some of mine back

Conversation went on and on. Very boring I know but it comes down to this. Kenney is grinding back triple threat (I cannot believe how many people assume Triple Master is 3 melee classes or the three ranged classes) I just bought a +15 pistol speed tape and getting my de-10s sliced to night. Now I need to find me a damaged sliced NS VK to replace the one I sold.
I’ll keep you informed how the duel goes I’m sure I’ll be able to dizzy knock down and finish her off with last ditch either my de-10 or 500 damage Krayt Geo in time it takes for her DOTs to tick twice.
