Sorry got carried away minimizing when the boss was making the rounds....

Anyways, I log on last night on my second toon and start getting tells before I've even finished loading in. A group is trying to find any smuggler to go base busting. So naturally I log ono my main & we all go sf and proceed to take down some bases (only 1 jedi in the group, go figure). The clock keeps ticking and soon I gotta log as I have work this morning. (Yeah I'm screwing off here. I only had to be here, I didn't say I'd actually do anything). When I log the large group basically falls apart because they can't find a singl other smuggler to help.

So I'm wondering, are there so few of us?

I see pleanty running around on my server. Although, that's because BH/smuggler was FOTM. They will soon dissappear with the new pub. (And leaving all the business for me.:smileytongue

I used to wear my Master Smuggler title with pride. But I've pretty much quit the ground game to chase my goal of mastering all nine pilot squadrons, so I wear a master pilot tag these days. I just hope when Smuggling ever really comes to the game that it involves space, there is just something funny about hearing that debris hitting your ship after you've blown up your opponent.

Anyways, my point is thatthere might be quite a fewlurking under another profession's tags.

There are many smugglers around but many just want the skills, not the real "content profession".
Smugger can be seen as some kind of ranged Combat Medic without healing so many people pick it up to help groups with mezzes but they don't wear the smuggler tag. I don't either since "Rogue" is cooler

I sport the rogue tag myself, but it was kinda odd that no one even knew where another smuggler was to be found. I begin to think its a shift from the original trilogy generation filtering out of this game and the prequel generation moving in.

Wow....suddenly I feel depressed and old.

i never wear smuggler tags since it seems so.... wrong somehow to annouce the fact that you work in illegal cargo hauling. maybe others feel the same?

I agree with you. But I get alot more slice and faction requests that way.

Well congrats, it will be nice to have another vet smuggler on Eclipse. I think that may make 10 of us all together there that aren't "all about the glowstick".

You mean I will finally have REAL competition in the smuggler arena? I don't know if I am more happy about this or anxious. Either way, look me up when you get to Eclipse.

As for the topic at hand, I have never worn my title. I find by the time I am done loading in, no matter where I am, there is already a lineup of people wanting slices, tells about the same. Besides, as a real smuggler would you walk around with the tag that says master smuggler? It's like just wearing a sign for the cops to look at you.
