Now suppose, just *suppose* you were Mal Reynolds, and you appeared - all of a sudden-like - in Mos Eisley.

Lots to learn, places to go.

Would you lean towards Smugglin' and bein' a Smuggler, or would you be more of a leader-type, and go Squad Leader? Or both?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I wouldn't bring Mal into the SW Universe in the first place... he doesn't belong there.

If I were him.. and I did suddenly find myself in the middle of Mos Eisley... then I would sure as heck myself quick, before the Emporer's Forces from the SOE Death Star come down upon me and force me to change my name...

Mal in SW? Hehe, at the worst I'd peg him for Master Smuggler, Master Squad Leader, 4000 Pistoleer. The 3 left over points end up as 2 in FS Luck and the final point in Persuasion.

OH FSCK NO.

If I EVER hear the words Mal and FS in the same context again EVERYONE is a dead man.

Msmug/Msquad, spend the rest in business or pistols.

Well, Joss has said several times that Mal is heavily based on the idea of Han Solo and 'what if', with the free roaming millenium falcon being inspiration for the ship Serenity and her crew... so, for the OT, I don't think Mal would be too out of place... indeed, I think he'd get along just fine.

SWG though? That's another matter entirely

Well I do know, he would have no issues shooting Greedo first.

I reckin' Mal would do just shiny for himself. He'd probably need a crew, at least a pilot. And he might find himself inda-shiong bao-jah-shr duh la doo-tze until he started using a blaster instead of his normal sidearm. And of course, there may be some confusion which faction to join, since we know he doesn't like corrupt galactic governments or the Alliance.

Malcomb Renalds, captain of the Firefly class ship 'Serenity' from the TV series Firefly and movie Serenity (both same cast and crew).

It's very Star Wars OT esq, only of our generation.. and more intelligent script writing and funnier

Edit: typos

*coughs*

Malcolm Reynolds, Captain of the Serenity - a Firefly class small freighter. Orginally seen in the 'Firefly' television series, more recently in the movie Serenity.

Smuggler, Leader.

Which, (since I happen to have that name) has me wonderin' if I should work on bein' a Smuggler ora Squad Leader. Or, as some have suggested, both.

All you need to know about "issues" would be my response to the statement "I'm not armed." (Anyone that has seen the movie should enjoy that little stroll down Memory Lane)
