Thread: Now that ToW is released...
We need an update on the smuggler revamp. I'm sure they'll be working on ToW bugs for a while but that's every day at SOE anyway. They should be giving us more info on the smuggler revamp soon and this forum has been fairly dead lately. Any news?

We've come up with so many documents and I know we won't see anything of substance before the three year birthday of this game.
I'll probably lay my browncoat on the ground with my blaster and walk away. One more casualty.
Wes if you get hold of Tiggs, ask here if there is any possibility to get the developer who#s gonna work on Smuggler to come here and say hello (I understand that it is hard for a DEV to read 40 pages long threads but that's where you come in
).it would be good to have a name, it would be even better if he (or she of course) wrote a little "what a smuggler should be for me" text, too. That way we know where the developer is and what we have to do to get him where we want him
I suspect none of the developers even want the job of Smuggler revamp. They code the system approved by LA. They're told what to make and they'll have a little wiggle room, but overall the system will be what they're told to code.
With that said, the proposals (based on the answers to the questions) are an abortion. They're nothing short of total crap and no dev will want their name or hands on it because it won't be acceptable.
Until the attitude towards smuggling and Smugglers changes at SOE Austin and LA, the revamp will be pushed and/or total crap.
Hey Wes, maybe you should take some of the MMORPG interview quotes from Julio Torres and ask her about them with regards to our profession. His responses are total crap, and I plan on pointing this out every chance I get. They've done it again. They've gone and opened their mouthes on the record, and it's utter bull**edit**.
Three more days until the month that we were promised some smuggler content...I'm not a gambler, but I think the odds are in my favor....

Some of his responses have already been brought up in the Corre forum.. people weren't too happy there either

I'm not doing any of the obvious insults here but I think Julio Torres has heaps of Y-chromosomes and therefore belongs to the male sex.

JuliO is male, JuliA is female 
As a general rule in languages descended from Latin & Greek(which are most European langauges), words and names ending in "O" are masculine, whilst words and names ending in "A" are feminine.
