Thread: Locked Container Loot Observation

Has anyone noticed a change in the loot inside locked containers? Novice Smuggler here, havent even gotten Slicing 2 yet. But out of the 30 or so containers I've opened, ive got: (2) +1 Polearm Dmg CA, +3 Defense vs. KD, +1 Rifle Acc W/ Moving, 3 treasure maps, a dagger with +3 Terrain Negotiation, and many many locked containers inside of locked containers. Do any of you Master Smugglers still open containers from time to time?
I think something was changed in the loot tables when they fixed the treasure maps. The other day I looted a Stone Knife with a weak mind poison (hey, at least its something). Has is been like this for a while? Or am I correct that something was indeed changed.

I agree...I have noticed better loots since the fix to treasure maps...I have had 5 containers or so that have had armor attachments and i have opened 2 or so more for really good friends that have had attachments, but when I was grinding through slicing...only one container the entire time had a attachment. I have no proof, just been my experience as well

I bellieve that the developers are making it so that containers contain more skill tapes now that they are stoping the Borgle cave rape.

keep this on the down-low. i would rather not have people start charging me more than 5k per container 
or, them not even sell them to me

i opened 40 containers in the last 24 hrs-- got several skill tapes (4-6), but none with a bonus over +2. as soon as i train slicing 1, i'm going to slice 40 or 50 more (been saving them for a long time). i'll post my results.

i think you've been lucky as I've never had anything better than a cdef carbine in any of the locked containers I've opened,
actually don't mind me just having a bad day

Maybe it's just me, but I got a nice laugh out of the fact that a guy named Batman is complaining about peopleplundering the Bat Cave. It makes me imagine Bruce Wayne trying to get his suit out of the locker, only to have a loitering ninja looter beat him to it over and over and over again.

When slicing some unlocked containers for a friend he found a heavy axe with a health dot in near perfect condition on two seperate occasions. I have also recently found six weak mind poison cdef pistols and carbines in different containers as well as a few skill tapes and armor mods.

I never even looked what was in all the containers I opened for other people, just not to be tempted by anything hehe
The only few ones (about like 15) I got for myself had complete junk in them.

I had some old containers from launch I was saving til I found a friendly smuggler. I found one guy who said he would do it.. Nothing in them he said.. so I just said forget it.. walked off. As he ran away shouting I read "Does anyone know if I can use a holocron and still sell it?" *sigh* I guess thats what I get for trusting a smuggler. I only wonder... why didnt he ask me that question while we were waiting for his lag to let up...

i just sliced about 80 containers today 50 of them for a friend who had been savingthem.... i got 7 +1skill tapes and a twin force crystal... although he said he got one of his containers from a force crystal hunter ..do you think it matters were u get them or not???

My experience has been no...it doesn't matter. I looted 2 containers from jawas this week, both had +41 attachments...well a good friend of mine looted 2 containers from the geonosian cave as was rather excited about the posibilites (thank god I am friends with this person in real life), so last night while we were waiting for some more crazed geonosians I asked him if he wanted me to open them and so we traded. I open the 1st one and 1 item inside...didn't look at it yet....slice open the 2nd one...NOTHING inside. So I go ahead and look in the container with 1 item...a broken hand-held viewscreen! Luckily I live in the same building as my friend and I offered him to come look in my inventory, but he trusted me and didn't take me up on that. So anyways from my experience and what I have heard other people say...it doesn't make a difference
