Recently there has been alot of One-star Ninja-ing going on in this forum. That is usually rare to this community. I ask whoever it is to please stop, and actually use the 'Reply' Button when you disagree with someone.
Hitting 1* is not a constructive way to discuss an Issue.. sure it shows you don't like an Idea, but no one knows why, and we can't move forward in a debate when one side says nothing but: "I don't like that"

I think it's my fault for getting Tiggs to post on the Revamp thing 
The ninja has a nasty habit of following the Dev Tracker and hanging around a forum when they think they can annoy some people.
Personally, it'd be nice if people who had a large proportion of giving1 and 2 star ratings would have their accounts flagged publicly. Going ninja on people is counterproductive to forum postings and it'd be nice if people didn't have to post in fear of having their rating dropped.

you realize most one star ninja's just take pleasure when they're acknowledged by posts like this.
let it go, every forum has em, smuggler forum has had em for a while too, dont let them win by getting to you. don't let them know it affects you by making a whole other thread about it.

I kinda like the idea tho, of the "average rating given" information on our profile to be public.

Actually, that was something that was mentioned a while back when the new rankings went up. Lemme find the quote....ah, here it is:

What are you the STAR police?
when ever I give a one star rating I try to give a reply but I dont always, some threads are just not worth debating, why give a bad idea a bump up when you'd rather see it sink fast? granted I dont see alot of those in here on the smuggler boards. But when I do I 1star it and move on, thats what stars are for, to let the reader RATE the post personaly I put a good deal of thought into how I rate a post and I reserve 5 stars for Exeptional stuff like wise I reserve 1 star for realy realy bad ones.
My Average rating GIVEN is 3stars
Again if i think the idea is bad I'm not gona post a reply and bump it back to the top, but I WILL rate it and I'll rate it the way I belive it should be rated, by my standards not sombody elses.
Now if you think me a troll or a one star ninja thats up to you, entirely your perogative.

ive been one starred on many occasions and it doesnt really bother me. think of one starring as someone's way of disagreeing wihtout actualy epxlaining why. the star system is here so people can use it. wether they use it for disagreeing or actually rating the post doesnt even matter. your right, its not a constructive way of discussing an issue. its a non discussing way of disagreeing or showin dislike. who cares what the reason for it is..

Egowyn...we've just noticed that there have been one stars all over the place just in the last couple of days...and well, I've had a guy try and go back and onestar my whole post history (think how long that'd take'em now? ha!).

OHH now thats just mean spirited and I totaly hate that crap
