I'm sure you all realize how abyssmally hard it is to play a drug dealer when nobody wants your drugs.
In a little experiment today, I tried to give out 10 doses of drug. I was flatly refused 8 times, no matter that I RP'd a hardsell, and offered the doses FREE of any charge or obligation.
The 2 that accepted were obvious newcomers, and weren't all that impressed with the puking afterwards.
Please, for the love of all that's holy, fix the spice line so that they're actually something I can feel good about illegally addicting people to! At least put something in spatial so that I can quit emoting what an addict I am.

I'm thinking of starting a partnership with a chef, and sell my spice together with smugglers delight...
I tried it for the first time myself this week and was very impressed with the results

I think we are stuck with the worthless drugs until the smuggler revamp in 2010. I figure by the time the jed revamp, jtl, jtl fixes, more jtl fixes, combat rebalance, more combat rebalance, gwc revamp, more gcw fixes, etc., etc. are all finished we will be pushed back again for a space revamp or some crap or another expansion they can push for 2005 christmas season. Because frankly, they have let us know several times that smuggler hasn't nor will be a priority any time soon. Hope my pessimism isn't spoiling your drug selling dreams lol.

Oh, well I hardly ever use spices, and when I do it's muon when I run out of brandy.... Since we all know that alcohal doesn't have a hangover, but drugs do

Sure.
Now just explain to a weaponsmith that he should only sell one model of gun.
Seriously. Muon and Pixie move, but they move damnably slowly. And we're talking like 300 cr/dose by the crate. How much do you think a serious pvp'er pays for in buffs over the course of a week?
If you can find some booster blue or thruster head on the bazaar, buy a few doses and try to give them away in a cantina. You'll see what I'm talking about.

The biggest reason why people don't use spice is the downer...with smuggler's delight you can take care of that problem...but it costs some stomach space....
Spices have been dead since the chef revamp....sales will pick up somehow...maybe we should just kill all chefs lol

Bah, I'm getting my code mixxed up. And I'm at work, so I can't use the visual editor...

Yeah, I'm all behind the smuggler-kills-chef code. I was RP'ing (trying to give away drugs) and a chef (in full goofy chef attire) in the cantina nodded at me, and said:
Thank god I gave up smuggler.
What more proof do we need? I'm still reeling over the 'booze makes you smarter for an hour' issue with brandy. C'mon, honestly!
-Damn, a physics exam... maybe I'll hit the tequila right before roll call.
-I need to recalculate my orbital velocity here in the multi-billion-dollar space shuttle? Hmmm... where's my emergency-scotch?

If it were careening towards Earth, I know I'd be searching high and low for that flask.
