"Smugglers have been promised 'love' since September 2003, which we believe is now coming in Publish 11. Mr. Stangl [TH] has stated that smuggler is 'more of a space profession'. Given that the expansion is being described as a 'twitch-based fighter', how, specifically, is Jump to Lightspeed going to bring Smugglers closer to actual Smuggling, as opposed to giving us stuff to loot, things to slice and having our own ship to modify?"

This issue is being discussed internally and as soon as I have some news, I will report to you on it. Sorry, but I can’t discuss it in any more detail than that currently. I know Smuggler’s are dying to find out what’s going on and as soon as humanly possible, I will let you know.

eh...Just gives me more time to Master Smuggler and Master Pistoleer. It's not like I will go anywhere else....I just enjoy the game too much, no matter what happens.

I'm not going anywhere either. I like being a Smuggler and I enjoy the game as well. It simply all the hush-hush, "don't tell the players anything we're doing" attitude that gets to me (a little) when there seems no real need for it. If the Devs have something great worked out, tell us all about it, it can only help our opinions of them. The only reason to hide information is that we wouldn't like it, which keeps the anxiety level up.

Come on folks...i mean, on the upshot we got to find out exactly which spawned creature is the toughest. That's all i'm interested in. It's great to know that instead of responding to our ideas or fixing easy bugs, they can host privat Royal Rumbles for their private enjoyment
