Wanted to get an answer on if being attacked after feigning was harrassment. Here is the response I got.
"I have read your ticket and understand you are using the feign death tactic in game and did not fool the other players as they continued to attack. There is no case of harrassment here as feign death is probably not the best tactic to use in PVP forthis reason, you remain subject to attack to take damage to yourself and your armor eben though you may not be killed by this
I would like to thank you for playing SWG andwish you the best of luck and a safe journey through the Star Wars Universe"
I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the part "did not fool the other players".

I don't think it was JustG (or maybe it was) that said something about Feign Death was working as intended in PvP. I find that half laughable, half irritating.
I personally filed a ticket on whether experimentation or any other action (besides skill) made any difference on slicing. I was curious about the response and this was when everyone was still arguing over it even after some results had been posted. Anywho, my response said something along the lines of "Please know that using any skill level beyond Slicing 4 or adding experimentation to your slicing tools to increase results is clearly exploiting. Please stop this or a CSR will be forced to take action."

Read my post about a revamp for Fd (Thread name: What do you guys think of this idea?)
See what you think any input is greatly apriciated.

Did not fool the other player??
The guy would have to have the IQ of a soup cracker to be fooled by FD in its current form....

I'm gonna experiment on all my Slicing gear from now on, just to see a CSR accuse me of exploiting!

How long were they hanging around, attacking your body? If they stayed around for the sole reason of blackening your HAM, working over your armor, etc while screaming names at you, I'd be quite upset.

Who cares about blackbarring? That is 10 minutes in a cantina while you watch half-naked rodian women dance...

I cannot beleive I am going to say this but I have to agree with the csr in the posters message. Its gotten a little tired people backing out of pvp by playing dead. Anytime they see someone comeing. It aint the smugglers doing this nonsense. Its jedi and bhs. The black barring atleast removes the one hundred percent victory from this abuse. If your too good to take the chance and fight. Either risk loseing points. Then the player should be compensated in some form or fashion. Even if its to force you to go back to town and get healed.
Its a difficult question. On one side you do not want people to have an I win button. On the other you kinda gotta feal for the person black barred into oblivion
A better solution should be that FD goes through all the death mechanics except decay and cloneing. That way if jedifd in combat with bh the points are just taken. If the bh does the same the points get taken. That way the people abuseing it still have it but it basically boils down to the advantage that dedicated smugglers have. That you might not have to travel to a cloneing center. That you might avoid paying for cloneing and insurance or healing wounds.
Heck you can make it inherent to all smuggler FD. After allt he worst we lose is faction points, and we can buy those anyway.
I filed the ticket to get a response on whether or not getting black-barred is harrassment. Some say yes others say no. I decided to try and get a definite answer from a CSR. The answer was NO, but the reason and only reason I posted this was because of the humor in the response I got. The part about me not fooling my attackers. I didn't post this to start a debate. I posted it so that my fellow smugglers could laugh along with me.
Thanks to whoever gave it to me for the one star for trying to bring some amusement to others.
And besides this is the smuggler forum not the BH or jedi forum.

You know what, I've finally had it! With the CSRs apparent attitude coupled with all of our previous Dev responses to FD, it's time to finally eliminate the damn skill from the game!
I don't want to do it, I like what FD could be, but it seems to be a skill the devs have no concept how to balance out, and has way too many problems involved to be used effectively. I'm sick of the PvE-only theory behind the skill. It makes no sense since the Galactic Civil War (and hense PvP) is the end goal of the game, to have a skill that isn't viable in that fashion. I'd love to see Powerhammers being considered PvE only!
Fact is, with the current thinking the Devs have for FD, it's going to be useless. Unless something radically changes in the current attitude, we're better off getting trading the skill, for some of the following:
1. Pistol mods.
2. A High-powered, high-speed pistol in case there are no mods
3. The ability to buy/sell faction points Covert (which i think a smuggler should be able to do anyway). This eliminates one major use for FD, making it easier to stomach
4. A way for smugglers to easily switch from one faction to the other, making us real 'sell outs'
Let me be clear, i'd much rather the developers think outside the box and actually FIX the bloody skill... but since i'm not confident that will ever happen, the only realistic option is throwing the skill out, eliminating all the damn complaints about it, and giving us something we can actually USE.

actually correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to recall JustG saying in a Stratics HOC chat that camping a player in any form was griefing. lemme see if I can't dig that up.
