Thread: Bubble tank question

Last night i looted the bubble tank schematic whic i "learned" into my data pad. Upon examination it says i need a general crafting tool to make the item so I open my weapon,droid and generic item tool and i cannot find the bubble tank listed. I have tried this next to several crafting stations as well. I submitted a csr ticket but the initial response was the generic log out for 30 min I think he thought i lost the schematic all together. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

hmm, i made mine with the regulat old generic crafting tool. the schem was under the furniture tab. i have no idea why we r crafting furniture, but hey

Yeah...word is you either need to use a Generic Crafting Tool (not to be confused with a Weapon, Droid, and Generic Item Tool) or a FURNITURE Crafting Tool.

Still not sure why we can make decoration objects with our spice skills, but at least it shows the team are open to putting new types of content in that tree

Must be somehow used to take spice in a special sort of way... What way is that? you got me.. I'm just trying to rationalize here.

thanks ill give one of those tools a try i dont have any of the basic generic tools and cant make one because i have no artisan skills. Again thanks for the info

you can usually pick up a Generic Crafting tool on the bazaar for less than 100 creds. Any Novice Artisan can make one...

ya there's a problem there tho.. Generic crafting tools are only craftable by... you guessed it, generic crafting tools. So if you don't have one, you're kinda screwed. This was an issue when the all-purpose repair tools first popped up. I just thought it was another issue like that. If it can really be crafted with a structure/furniture tool I'll be a happy smuggler.

Please Wes, what it shows is that the devs have absolutely NO clue of what a smuggler does. That is ALL it shows of the devs.
Please, as our rep, do NOT give them the idea that adding things like this are in ANY way of interest to us.
This, as everything else in 3 of our 4 trees have absolutely NOTHING to do with smuggling and as far as I'm concerned they can take all that fp trading, drug dealing and slicing stuff and shove it.
I, for one, did NOT take up Smuggler to manufacture ANYTHING let alone drugs, sell fp or tinker with weapons and armor. I took up Smuggler to SMUGGLE.
