Greetings Smugglers .. as a Smuggler to be, I have a question about slicing...

Can ANY weapon be sliced for exp points ? I come across a lot of stone knifes , CDEF weapons, and staffs in my travels on Tatooine and Naboo and if I can just slice em and throw em out.. would probably be good exp.

Please let me know.

Yep. 250 xp for any weapon. Lightsaber slicing is an exploit, though. So, any weapon other than a lightsaber.

Slicing a light saber has been clearly designated a ban offense.

You can slice anything for same amount of XP. I advise not to slice high price items before mastering.

Yeah. You'll get 10-20% slices until Slicing IV, and Slicing IV isn't that great....

(Saving Pistol XP for Pistoleer, then I'll finish smuggler)

yup..i was shocked to know i could slice grenades..lol

I'm on Slicing 3 and get between 10-26% slice about 50-50 between dam and speed.

I also slice a LOT of mines for our bases' mine fields

(and yeah I know terminals give 100XP only)

With slicing IV you'll still only get in the 20's. Once I hit master, my first slice as master on a piece of armor was a 43% encumbrance slice...to bad it was on a bracer.

I hit master 3 days ago and have hit only 3 times in the 30%+ range on my slices, everything in 20%'s and one 18%. Am i doing something wrong? I thought laser knives and clamps dont have any real stats to them.

random random random... I have some low days too... 2 days ago i sliced a composite armor for 20+% eff and the day after i sliced around 10 pieces out of 18 for 40+% encumbrance.... go figure...

Figyure this, 40% averagte encumb slice on a whole set of armour! the next set the gguy brought me was stun, 20% base
