We all know full well that noting affects slicing negatively or positively in any way, shape or form, but does anyone else have that lucky piece of clothing or armor they won't slice without wearing? for me it's a really dark green Gunman's Duster that i got out ofthe very first locked container i popped open (july or august of 2003, i think). it's silly, but hey, we all have our quirks.

When I was a TK I would always slicing meditating. Now I slice sitting on the floor.
And I make my customers /duck and pray to the slicing gods for the opposite slice they want.

hawt pants are the key to good slicing, and I errected a shrine to the slicing god in my house.

I usually dance naked in the woods for a half an hour then make a sacrifice to the alter of darkness...
lol but seriously i put on some sort of hat (sunguard, turban, headwrap) and unequip my weapons

If I'm slicing an expensive weapon I'll sacrifice a crate of CDEF's, clamps, knifes, and WUKs.

I like to bring out my Slice Hound that I had chosen personally in the wilds of Corellia.

exxxcelent. glad to see I am not alone in my weird slice routines. If slicing a nice enhansed weapon I never look at the stats or really, what is is I'm slicing. I allso never wear armor while slicing and yes, cause I am of that early generation of smuggler I still try and use 90%+ tools even though I know it's useless.

I never wear armor while slicing , i try not to have any wounds or BF. I slice things in the order they are givin me and never look at the stats .

Simular, and i have a bad habit of finding large nodes of hq copper to use as well... silly really... but it does seem to help in pleasing the gods... that and i /dance before hand as well...

I always meditate while slicing. and i also slice things in the order they r given to me. as u al know, if your customer ever says what they want out loud, they r almost certain not to get it. That's why i always tell my customers not to tell me what it is they r looking for.
actually, one guy said in spatial that he wanted eff on his armor. i told him about the slicing gods, and got an enc slice on the first piece. he then proceeded to /dance and /encourage for the remainder of my slicing time, and all the rest of his slices were eff, and a couple of them were in the high 30's or 40 % range.

Since saying all that, i got low effect on my new comp armor (minehad decayed beyond hope) when hoping for high enc. /disgruntled stupid slicing gods... why you gotta ruin all our fun! why!
