Smuggler Archive
Thread: I finally got it. It's very clear to me now...
Hmm... I'm excited about playing a game.
It's a feeling I haven't felt since...

You'll like it. It isn't like SWG though (good or bad). There is no crafting at all. It is a hack and slash game where you kill mob after mob after mob. You advance by getting xp. Loot is automatic in the form of skill enhancers, some you can use, some you cannot. You will also gain influence which is your form of money. You use influence to purchase enhancers or other items such as a cape. You can sell enhancers you can't use for influence.
Grouping is very liquid. Anyone anywhere can invite you to a group. You can accept or decline. You can leave a group at anytime if you choose to do so. You can solo the game if you wish. Grouping allows you to do harder missions faster and gain more influence as well as high end enhancers.
The game works and is a lot of fun, unless you enjoy crafting or need a very social aspect to a game.

Wow.
Mine just throws stuff at me, curses at me, foams at the mouth, has fits/seizures and blames it all on me.
But on occasion - The Bringer of the Beer (Which is important after all)
Maybe you should, like, pay attention to her once in a while?!?!?!
We women like that now and again, and NOT just when you need another beer. ![]()

I hate to break this to you, but CoH is probably only a few weeks away from one of the most massive nerfs I've ever heard of (starting with a global reduction of every player character's defensive abilities). Don't get too accustomed to how the game plays right now because there are big changes on the way.
I"ve been playing WoW this week. I really like it. The combination of fighting and crafting is nice, a bit like Horizons and FFXI in a way.
WoW should keep me busy 'till Star Trek or LotR comes out.

Eh, I played WoW from release until June...It's a great game until you're a level 60 (highest level) and need to be in a massive raiding guild to do anything fun. And hope you're a class that is needed (not a rogue)
Although battlegrounds is pretty cool.
I miss the social and crafting aspects from SWG too much to play WoW.
