Hey everyone. I got novice smuggler two or three days ago after about two weeks of work lol. I am done with containers, and I am currently doing terminals. I was just wondering what slicing should I stop on? I hear that slicing four is "broken" at the moment so I was wondering which one gives the highest slice percent. Thanks

If 4 is broken, that would imply 3 works, yes?

This question is answered in no less than 10 threads in this forum.

Slice 3 works fine, and getting Master smuggler fixes slice 4.

If you're concerned about your slicing %'s, get slice 3, then do the rest of the smuggler tree, and get slice 4 last, followed by master smuggler immediately after.

I just read the excellent FAQ on slicing in the stickied thread. I just have one question. Does the quality of tools have any impact on slicing with regards to weapons or armor?

No.

GreenMarine recently stated that tools have no impact on slicing at all.

The FAQ needs to be updated to say so as this is the all time most asked question.

I tried to get my knuckers of the katarn and kashyyk bladestick sliced by a friend and he couldnt do it, both are bio-linked so im guessing that is the problem, so two questions, is this intended? and if I get a weapon sliced before bio linking can i still bio link it to myself or will the smuggler bio link it to himself in the process?

hi i am novice smuggler, and was wondering can smugglers slice faction base's that other players put down? and if so, what does it do? and how do you do it? and do i have to be master smuggler to do it? thnx
