I am new to the Smuggler Porfession and am wondering where do you get either schematic or the simple toolkit itself from? I read one deal that said that they were looted from mercanires on Lok, but after killing 60 of them I think I got every thing but one and if this is where ya get them what is the drop rate?

Does anyone have a confirmed location to loot these bad boys? I am stuck on 1st lvl slices untilI can find some. Any ideas would be great

You can convert your wuks, what they convert into is random, but simple toolkits are the more common of the slicing loots you'll get

And the finely tuned toolkits are the same way?

When I salvaged my WUKs, I ran about 90/10 Simple Toolkits and Finely Crafted Toolsets. I had less than 100 WUKs, as I never kept piles of these things on hand. No DTAs or ICBs, but that was a small sample of WUKs.

Yeah, Mumphries, the finely tuned toolkits are the same way.

Similarly, the simple kits are salvaged from AUKs, too... so anything used to customize weapons can be salvaged from WUKs, anything used to customize armor can be salvaged from AUKs. So if you need some simple toolkits and run out of WUKs to salvage, you can salvage AUKs to get the simple toolkits, too.

im sorry for the noob question, but where do i find simple toolkits? can they be crafted? and if yes, by whom? i did some missions with my mbh/master smug alt but those things dont drop!

i read all the FAQ´s but it doesnt say where to get them!
