a group of us were pursuing soem rebels, one starts to go down when i see something i haven't seeing a while. the feign death icon appears and he's suddenly an invalid target. was this changed back to work in pvp at the CU and i just missed it or is it broken or bugged?

Yes, yes indeed. FD works in PvP and there are counters. Don't ask me which ones, but a Jedi has definetly one somewhere in the trees.

We couldn't play SWG without Tiggs. Now we can =)

Yes, yes indeed. FD works in PvP and there are counters. Don't ask me which ones, but a Jedi has definetly one somewhere in the trees.

so what are the limitations? no FD while KD? whats the action cost for FD, perhaps i could sap it down to where they can't afford to feign? stun, blind, dizzy? any of that? it'ssort ofimportant to meas people on my server have been using this to take down our bases with impugnity.

That's a bug with bases, not FD.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. That's a bug with bases, not FD.

well, i can't fix the bug, but if i could stop them from feigning it would solve the problem from my end...

You were already told there are counters to FD that Jedi know about, and you still expect us to tell you?

If I go to the Jedi boards and ask how to counter one of your skills, would you tell me?

Force choke (among other moves) > FD. Working as intended. I believe it functions (speculatively speaking here)to prevent BH or other Jedi from being cheap, though nobody has officially gave a reason. [Edit: That said, it could actually be an exploit, but nobody knows.]

/SIT is the counter to /FD- its been done to me by a few Jedi and it brings me out of /FD every time if they just simply /SIT.
