Is this even possible? I have the schematic and some alderaanian flora, but i cant craft the spice. There is an empty box in the resource dialog, but i cant put anything in it, i assume its for the flora. And i cant click assemble because it says i havent supplied enought resources. Is this bugged or should i just try with some more flora?

Nope not bugged you need more flora. Ive crafted it and used it and like most items in the GSW it is for the most part useless in combat.

Well the flora is bugged... since it has no item number anymore

The best thing you can do, as far as I know, is to auction off the Flora as decoration. You might get a pretty penny for it.

Its been awhile since I crafted it, did they stop letting people make it? (oh and my bad for the old info).

When they added serial numbers to everything, they didnt add serials to the flowers, making it impossible to craft Deadeye now since no flowers have serials.

i just happened to see an npc and started talking to him and he mentioned the deadeye, i marked it down on my todo list.

Thats really annoying, ive been sitting on the schematic for a few months, and i finally finished the rebel dead eye missions. Even though the final base defense spawned literally on a gorax, who i took on and lost too, but after being cloned it said i get the badge anyway. I really wanted to craft one of these for a decoration. Im trying to put together strange loot for nova, and thought that would be a nice touch.

Where does this quest start?
Talk to a Rebel or Imperial Coordinator on any of the starter planets. It's the old Cries of Alderaan story arch from late '03 (wasn't early '04 I don't think) that has you run around and do stuff for factions.
If you're a Rebel you have to keep the substance known as "Dead-Eye" out of the hands of the Imperials. If you're Imperial, you're trying to acquire this substance. "Dead-Eye" itself is a project and a spice-like substance that gives you increased accuracy across the board by like +35 or something...I can't remember. That's about it.

I have 2 shots of dead eye left. Both shots are +40% to accuracy, for 14.5 minutes.
The good thing about dead eye is/was, that it stacks with everything. And as the one and only story arcs story line said we should be able to craft it. As the 3rd mission in the Cries of Aldaraan story arc was finding a new sorce for deadeye, and sense Rebels won ALL 3 story arcs we were sopposed to have the Cries of Aldaraan faction bonus (reward for winning one of the earlier missions) and the ability to craft deadeye. ........ Ohh well, nothing left to say I guess.

Id love to be able to craft it, an accuracy spice that stacked with snow cake would be so much more useful to me (Master commando/Smuggler) than muon or pixie for instance.

How about this;
They give ALL our crafting to Artisans of some type or another, they give FP trading to Politicians or Squad Leaders and they give slicing to Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths.
THEN, they give us skills that are actually realted to SMUGGLING. Damn I'm so tired of people wanting to do anything with Smuggler except actually smuggle.
And they NEVER ever give us anything else that is unrelated to what the title of our profession indicates we are.
