Yes I have waited....

Yes I have trusted....

Yes I have listened to the trust-ing, tell me to take my angst elsewhere, so that they can happily let SOE make false promises to them...

Yes I have been patient...

Yes you've told me that if i dont like it i should quit....

Yes I LOVE STAR WARS SMUGGLING....

But i dont think ill ever try to post anything inTHIS smuggler forum that would help usagain until SOE gives us at LEAST a description/perks for being Master Smuggler.

I mean its been 2 friggen years and all we've gotten.....ARE NERFS.....and some glass bong furniture thingy.

What I will do tho until that time is send ppl like IGN.com and other major gaming press co.'s "Smuggler History" and see if we can get some love from them and in process due, get some love from SOE.

But w/ WOW being such an awesome game out of the box IGN and the like may just tell me to go buy that and kick this to the curb...

....Just random thoughts while the servers are down.

no WoW for me, i think it is very likely overrated. and by that i mean, think about how u felt about SWG when u first started. we all thoguht it was great, an awesome game. I still think that, tho the novelty of it has surely worn off. i think that's what most people r experiencing with WoW, novelty. when that dies down, and people get bored of the cartoons and such of WOW, i think many will come back to SWG. even with all it's problems, i still think it is the most expansive mmorpg on the market, simply because it has been around longer than the other big two (WoW and EQ2). does SWG need fixing? of course, it would be ignorance to say otherwise. but I am sticking with this game, especially now that they added 20 new devs, and we should hopefully see more/faster content. and i don't care if they take6 months with the CU, just so long as they do it right.

I think you have a slight verb tense error in your message subject.

Shouldn't "is rotting" be "has rotted"? I think the process completed long ago personally.

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Two years of "Soon"(TM), a harsh bunch of lies.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie"

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Dancers can't smuggle and neither can I.
Ask me a riddle and I reply: "Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie."

Smuggler, Smuggler, Smuggler Pie, Why are there Jedi, I don't know why.

Well, I dont play everyday like I used too, but I'm still damn proud of my smuggler.

And we it comes down to the end of the day, I see numerous other smugglers complaining, bitching, and quiting, and I can say is that I will stick with it to the very end.

If you get tired of smuggler, out it on the back burner and try something new. Its helped me get through some tough times.

Just trying to help...

said it before, will say it again: I LOVE SMUGGLER! hehe

no really, once i got to master rifleman/master smuggler i knew that i just couldn't drop either... had to solve it otherwise...(got an alt )

but i agree on the rotting... then again: look at it this waythe smuggler way) the more people drop smuggler, the less smugglers there will be. and the less smugglers there will be, the higher prices we can ask for our services

concluding: all those peeps dropping smuggler, is only gonna make us even richer, which is never a bad thing, imho

Please don't actually try and tell me you love smuggler because of smuggling.

I mean if you love your character and the skills it has then fine but you are NOT A FREAKING SMUGGLER, not by any definition of the word I have ever encountered.

Call yourself something more appropriate and say you love that...like Master Common Criminal...just NOT smuggler.

It's been said that I'm a little insane, but I discovered I really liked Smuggler when I ground it way back in the day for the Hologrind nonsense. And stopped there, because I liked what I was.

I played in the WoW beta for a while, and it was a good game but there was nothing particularly special about it. I didn't see anything innovative to the genre of MMORPGs. Ultimately it will fall by the wayside to the "next big MMORPG" that comes along, and the only people left will be those who really love everything Warcraft. It's the standard MMORPG life: grand entrance, spends some time at #1 (goes to Disney World to celebrate), new MMORPG comes out promising more and causes a lots of flame wars on the forums, large population shift occurs consisting mainly of players who always feel the need to be playing the newest MMO game, rinse, repeat, wipe hands on pants.

I have plans to implement a fairly large mediaassault on SWG because of how the smuggler community has been treated. Feel free to email me any thoughts, facts, or the like, and I'll see what I can do. They underestimate the power of the fo-....media...

This goes for the rest of the Smuggler community as well...and the rest of SWG. People will know what's going on, it's just going to take some time on my end. I've kind of begun this thing as a side project.

nice, I just hope SOE gets their heads out of their poopers and start getting this game right. It has so much potential and that is what makes me so nuts. Aside form our issues some jedi brought up a killer idea that i was shocked the devs over looked. He was talking about dark jedi not being dark jedi but being (he got this from the EU) imperial inquisitors. This not only fits the time line but sound so much cool and yet the dev's over looked this? Bounty Systems, GSW, so much could make this game rock so hard. I wonder sometimes if the dev's ever play or even follow Star Wars. /shrug

Jeez, I guess someone didn't like the plan I had. Oh, one star bandit, I have two things to say to you:

1. **edited for mindfulness**

2. Bring it.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.
