These boards are turning into a hate fest, and trash talking. This is no place for it.

We are the strongest Community here, and were acting like the damn Jedi boards.

Do you see any of the older members posting anymore, or replying to these threads....

Lets take a calm break... I want a revamp as much as anybody, but this is not the way to get it. I would prefer to get the revamp and not have the devs enraged at us. Don't get me wrong, I am upset with what happened to Angus, and I think it was unfair and unjust... but we need to start calming down before we start a civil war between one another.

Do us all a favor... Every smuggler who quits, write a letter to SOE, Lucasarts, and Sony and explain your upset nature and the reason why you are quiting. The idea of writing a letter was a good idea and it would certainly turn some heads in my opinion.

Take it past the devs. If the management see letters about the current state of the player base, perhaps they will step in.

I've been a Smuggler since live and in game 3 months back into beta. I've been posting on this form since being a Smuggler.

But I too am gone July 31 but I will NOT go out quietly and submissively.

Some of you say this isn't the way to get our revamp? Well then PLEASE point to the 'way' that actually works. NO way has worked for over TWO FREAKING YEARS and I defy you to show me a way that will work.

The Smuggler Status Quo doens't get us ANYWHERE and I think many of you have gotten so use to it that it's become like a comfy old pair of bedroom slippers. Nice if comfy submissive status quo is what YOU want for yourself. I don't find it very Smugglerish though.

Yea, the vets are gone because they got tired of waiting, and in some cases

Left because of more personal insults to them.

We've done the intelligent reasoning thing, we've done the slaphappy you can't hold us down thing. I'm doing the vehement protest thing now, and you're welcome to disagree with my position. But I'm tired of waiting, I'm tired of being nice only to be stepped on, and this is me freaking out and breaking down.

What 'last stand' Jwing? I have NO idea what you're talking about. I see nothing different now than a year ago. It is business as usual for SOE in their relationship to us. Nothing has changed, there is no 'last stand' there is NO indication of anything different out of them.

I completely agree with you, but as you know there have been several times over the last 2 years where we get all "hot and bothered". We start posting crap everywhere, start protests, sit-ins, etc. Where does that get us?

NOWHERE... You know exactly the response SOE will give us. You'll be banned....done. We all know that communication SUX here, but we are a very demanding playerbase.

Don't get me wrong, if you feel your course of action in this matter is protesting, flamming, etc. Then fine, do it.

I'm just pointing out, it will only lead to you getting madder and madder, and in some cases, peeps cancelling their account(s).

Then the Smuggler Community, and everyone in game you know will be effected, and not SOE.

I just hate to see SWG in this condition, especially all of my Underworld brothers and sisters.
