You need pistol techniques 2 to use the Geo and I think Master Pistoleer if you want/can afford a DE10

Master Pistoleer Cert. HUGE damage (I've seen 400 max), SLOW (3-4 seconds). AP 1. Combat Revamp Ready.

I agree with the above topic. Mostly since they recently nerfed us by adding a delay in the change of weaponry (that's confirmed, right?). What's the point of taking Unarmed and Pistol for Smuggler if you cannot combine the two? It makes little since, because with this being the case, there's little point to the Unarmed tree. If I can't walk up to someone and stun/blind them, then instantly switch to my pistol and use my (nerfed) trick shots to help disable them... what's the point?
Granted, we smugglers shouldn't be able to kill people very easy. But we should be able to make clean getaways with ease. Most of our dirty fighting abilities should focus on getting -away-, and tricks like Last Ditch should be used to deter the overly persistent.

I believe heat damage as well. The schematic is found in the DeathWatch Bunker I think. Which explains the rarity & excessive prices.

DE-10 is energy and completely reduntant if you have a nice krayt modified republic. I wish I didn't spend the 2.2 mil now.

Not just that, but the Armor removal delay is also a direct nerf to our effective use of FD in PvP. The weapon exchange Nerf at least limits other professions, but what other profession is truly being effected by the Armor equip/unequip delay nerf???

sry... needed to get that out.

I have no armor removal delay. I have a macro that puts my clothes back on and that works as it did before the "adjustment"

Exactly.
I happen to have one krayt , 32% damage sliced, modified republic blaster, and with my damage powerup, the little bugger is dealing over 310 dmg every 2 secs.
That gun is my pride and joy for the time being.

OoooOOOoooh... I need to try that! I'm usually out in the woods with a black Smock, boots, gloves, and CE eyeware, so the arms would need to be cued. Perhaps I'll switch to a pants and Jacket combo...

Again, as so many before me, I apologise in advance if this topic has been done befoe, but it's easy to miss a post or 7 here!
What I'm enquiring is this: Is there any way that a smuggler can get his hands on any other pistols than the basic ones? We do almost as much pistol xp as pistoleer, yet get hardly any of the guns. Are there plans to add other pistols to smuggler / master smuggler or be able to slice them so that they can be used?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers!
