Shipwrights should be able to build "Chassis Rebuild Kits" that can take the ship chassis back up to the original condition *eg. Heavy X-Wing...would bring it back to 2000/2000*
Since the ships are limited due to the quests
Since the SWs are not making anything off of them currently
It would provide another avenue of income where the Devs have taken it out
It would provide for happier customers because they could fix their quest-ships
It would provide another avenue for income to resource gathering people (possibly space-miners)
What do you guys think?

Make the refurbish kits take asteroid resources and I think that's a great idea.

I like th eidea allot. Itd be nice to not feel like you had to keep your new ships in the garage for fear of chasis decay. A chasi W 9 hitpoints means the minute your shileds are down your blown up.

Yeah I like it, and I think asteroid resource is a good addition to the idea.

It is my understanding that the quest reward ships cannot drop below 9 HP, so there really isn't a need for the repair kits since they can't be destroyed completely.

If the devs are worried that this will cause problems, make it so the kit will only ever repair 80% of the chassis. That way you only ever have a perfect chassis when it is first generated.
