Title kind of says it all. I am trying to get into the shipwright business and am curious to know if there is any market for the tier one ships, or not really. And if so, what is a good price for selling them at? They do seem to have more mass than the free ones you receive from the trainer so they aren't totally useless.

There is always a market - how much of one is another question altogether!

Since you don't mention a server (and I'd give the same advice even if you did...) go to a bazaar in a city like Coronet, Mos Eisley or Theed etc, hit the locate a vendor button and jump down to the ships category. Show prices for the entire galaxy and doa little research about what the price spread is like on your galaxy. Price accordingly.

Seriously, I'd get used to doing this fairly often. I do it once a week just to make sure I'm not grossly out of step with the economic pulse on my server. It helps give me a general overall feel for what's happening with my craft in particular and prices just in general.

I dont know what server you are on but I am on Flurry and this is what I use for pricing.

Chassies 2cpu

Crafted Parts 4 to 5 cpu

Re-Eng Parts 1k per re-eng level

Missles and Counter measures 4 to 5 cpu

I also buy used ship deeds real cheap and re-sale then for a lower price than what i would sale a new ship for. I usually just do this for the tier 1 ships and stuff. Also put into consideration if you mine all your resource or if you buy them. I harvest all mine which if you harvest them cost around .75 credits per unit. Chassis take so much as you get into the higher ones like B-Wing, Decimator and such. So take all that into consideration as well and also consider doing custom orders to make more credits for custom jobs.
