I dont think there is one. I migth be wrong but from what I gathered, during beta, the DEVs want to keep JTL and FS/Jedi as far away from each other as possible. I happen to agree to this as I dont want to see a bunch of pilots farming xp or shipwrights grinding just to get FS xp.
I don't see the reason why it should not be possible to convert Ship/Pilot Xp to FS XP. Why should a SW be locked out from getting FS crafting XP by "playing the game" (not that it is possible to master FS crafting without grinding useless items but at least would be nice to get some "free" XP)? Why should someone who prefer spending most of his time in space have to go to ground game to get XP for gettingFS XP?It is like it is two completly different games.
I think it is just a forgotten issue. I brought this up in beta but did never get any reply.
I also think that Vehicle control should give some small bonus to manueverability.

You just answered your own question right there. Give FS xp conversions and its just a small jump to wanting vehicle control. Pretty soon jedi start wanting special advantages in space. There you go.

If there is no SW XP conversion to FS XP then that is ridiculous! It is an elitecrafting profession on the ground, just like DE, AS, Arch. It take skill points to master unlike Pilot. It makes no sense.

Hmm, one thing I hated about being master was, that there was nothing to do with the XP I earned. So I really like the ability to exchange crafting XP for force XP. As I am not grinding, it will take a looong time to reach a skillbox that way...
However, I would be kind of disapointed, if there was no exchange rate. It does not have to be high, but 1:50 or maybe 1:100 might work. Some rate that does not make grinding attractive, but gives me something to do with my exess XP.
