I cant insert a schematic I made on either of the 4 types of factories.. What gives?...lol

i think right now , none. Not 100% sure but from other posts and beta we couldnt

we might, would be nice to be able to craft all those components in crates versus hand crafting all of them

Umm, from what I have seen and heard. ALL items are hand crafted, and no factory runs will be available for Shipwright!! Have fun!

Redeed an equipment factory, or just put a new one down, you'll then be able to put SUB-components into the factory.
The above poster(s) don't know what they're talking about, there are no new factories, there is limitied factory support, for consumables (missile packs, etc) and for SUB-components (Think the pieces that go into the actual ship components).

A quote directly taken from the manual under the shipwright chapter...
The Final Product
"As with crafting a blaster or ANY other item, the crafting tool or station allows you to produce either a finished prototype or a manufacturing schematic. The finished prototype option produces a component or starship that you can immediately use. A manufacturing schematic does not result in a tangible item, but does provide you a schematic that can be used with a factory to mass-produce multiple versions of the item"
Having read that, it sounds like we should be allowed to make schematics, so what gives... why no option devs??? I think if you are going to publish this, you should provide us with the abilities.
