proof at how bad grinding has gotten....

You only need to build like 90 chassis to master the proffesion, this could take you likeunder anhour if your fast. Its the resources that slow you down. What is it something like 4.6 million resources to master?
5,665,000 resource IF you do it in practice mode. more if you dont. buying them at 3-4 CP for grind quality takes about 12-13 million credits and the harvesting yourself can take up to 3-4 weeks with 10 lots. so the effort is not in the mouse clicks but in gathering the resources.

Wow, sad. Shouldn't have even been able to start on it until launch, like most everyone else. Instead, some get to make ships, charge insane prices, and screw the economy more. How much for a master ship? 5-6 million? or is that too low?
a master level ships takes about 100k resources so multiply that by 3-4cpu for grind quality resources or more if you want the best +some profit for having to make every thing by hand. i would sell a grind quality master ship for no less than 500k price would go up dramatically the better the resources the customer wants used in the chassis. if a customer brings me the resources ill build any ship for 50k.
so yeah using 100k worth of 900+ quality resources i could see charging millions of creds for such a waste of resources and liekly wouldnt take such a order or fill it unless the buyer brings their own.
the only thing that you can experiment on in a ship chasis is mass and hullpoints. neither of which have that great an effect on the end result even with superb resources. so using anything better than grind quality is a pure waste when those resources could have gone into ship components where experimentation has more meaning and effect and where quality really matters.
