ok a droid chassis are used to make droids and not the actual usable droid which leaves me slightly confused about ships ... if I purchase a chassis, is it flyable?
sorry if it is a dumb question but I could really use some help here .

How do I turn this chassis blueprint into a ship?
You must talk to a Chassis Broker (an npc often found in starports) and pay him to turn your blueprint into a ship in your datapad. This will cost 25k per tier (so 25k at tier 0, 50k at tier 1 etc)

After that you need to put the components that the SW sells you into the ship by using the modify tab off a starship terminal.

No, it's not. It first needs to be changed from blueprints into a chassis (depending on which part of that process you're entering in on your question). Then at a minimum, you need an engine and a reactor. You don't need anything else to fly--but you might want the rest of it....
