a few beginner non-crafter questions..

I realize i will need buttloads of Steel/Ore/Aluminum/Inert Petro/Iron/Fiberplast..

What tool(s) do i use to build the chassis?

Is there a macro for this?

If not, do i just click and click and click in practice mode???

thanks.

Theres a starship crafting tool, and a starship crafting station.

Probably not, but it wouldn't take much to write one. Given though, that your going to be spending most of the time clicking various resources and the fact its not going to take 1000's of chassis to master shipwright (I think in beta someone worked it out to be less than 1000) its possibly not worth it. Just turn of crafting action confirmations and your half way there..

In fact the shipwright FAQ says it takes a total of 107 chassis to make Master.

Sigh, you've never really crafted before have you....?

You always need the appropriate crafting tool and for higher level chassis you will need a private starship crafting station. If you've never crafted before I suggest you read some basic information in the artisan forums first.

And if you want to turn of crafting confirmations, go to options (ctrl+o by default) and the Misc tab (I think). Somewhere you'll find a check box labeled "Confirm crafting actions" (or similar). Uncheck it and it'll get rid of all those annoying "are you sure you want to xyz..?" prompt boxes you get, reducing the number of times you have to click.

I very much recommend getting a droid with personal crafting station. Need it for alot of schematics.
