Thread: Another (different) firespray question

I'm almost done collecting the discs, but I'm not quite a master shipwright yet. My question is, has anyone collected all the discs and put them into the component analysis tool *before* becoming a master shipwright? I'm a little worried that attempting this before master might eat my schematic since I don't qualify for it yet.
Anyone know?

Even if you get a KSE Schematic from someone else, you will be unable to learn it until you reach Master Shipwright.

That would be fine, as long as I still got the schematic and could use it when I *DO* master. My question is, are there any issues trying to generate a schematic before you are a master shipwright? I don't want to potentially lose my schematic by RE'ing the discs too soon.

So, just wait until you master. Why take the chance? You can't use the schematic until then anyways.

The schematic itself is an item, nothing more. Just like other schematics in the game you receive as rewards or as loot.
Assembling the disks now or later will have absolutely no impact on the item itself.
