Well SOE Just really screwed those of us buying loot parts for 1k each, The chassie vendos are now buying them for 1k per level. So either we meet or beat SOEs prices and Fire Sprays get even more expensive or we are out of the RE Business, unless someone has a better idea.

How about stop worrying about it? How about get your guild to donate parts to you like they should be? Or how about you up your offers so that people will continue to sell to you?

Will the blue print guy accept parts that have been REed already? Anyone know anything about this?

Just tested this.
Chassis dude buys REed loot, but only 1k pr level as everything else, i.e level 6 REed engine = 6k.
He didn't buy my crafted stuff, guess he thinks it's no good

I know I'm gonna get one-starred for this, but,
When JTL went live I had 1.5 million credits to my name. Now our neighborhood shipwrights have all that money and I have none. I have seen shipwrights post about making 40 million profit in a week. I think shipwrights can afford to pay more than 1k for space loot.

Some shipwrights have made lots of profit, and some has not.
I didn't become a shipwright to dig as deep as possible in my customers pockets, but to sell at reasonable prices. I have to maintain a price where my customers don't get ripped off, but high enough so other shipwrights don't buy my stock and sell for twice the price.
Go read the the lowballers thread in the shipwright forum, where some shipwrights tries to enforce a high price for our wares. If you don't follow their lead, they state they will simply buy the stock and resell for a higher price.

Now they will just make more credits. Those that gauge anyway will just take their new cost add their multiplier and charge the new price. More expensive REd components coming. I for one will get out of the RE business. I wont compete with 5cpu for components.
Level Resources needed Broker pays CPU
1 200*1=200 1000 5
3 500*3=1500 9000 6
5 1000*5=5000 25000 5
7 2500*7=17500 49000 2.8
9 5000*9=45000 81000 1.8
Remembering you need a qty equal to the RE level to craft it is how I came up with the "Broker Pays" amount.

They can cry all they want, I still sell x-wings for 125k, and make a profit!! Not tons, but a profit.

I've been getting my own loot to RE. Sure it takes a lot of work, but I find it a nice break from the SW grinding (and it fills in the time while I'm waiting for my harvs to catch up).
It's cool that we can sell the stuff back after it's been RE'ed. This is what I was hoping for and will help alot fo subsidize the immense cost of operating as a grinding SW.
My items are on my vendors for 5 cpu, but I haven't been actively advertising, finally put the vendors on the map (albeit under the wrong category) yesterday and have yet to sell a single thing.
Not all shipwrights are rich... some of us are doing it just for fun and are happy to make minimal profits.
