Tedious to doit in scale as it is indeed time-consuming, but I'm sure there are mega-corp shipyards out there. I run a mega-corp that is built on always being stocked with 'stock' components and a strong staff for custom work. I restock daily at least 10 of each level and type/colorof component
Prices are for components 10,20,30,60,120 and ships are 5-7cpu depending on whether grind made or master made. At my 'full stock' I have about 30M for sale in components at a given time.. and just shy of 400 ships on the vendor which (though I haven't added it up) I would guess exceeds 80M credits worth at least, and probably over 100M
Sales exceed 10M/day on average and that's just my vendor sales. We do have 4 other master shipywrights on staff just for custom work. To round off about 130M credits worth in total stock available.
Who else is the largest or nearly largest shipyards in your galaxies? Even being a large shipyards, there is still plenty of business to go around, but people come for well stocked vendors rather than searching the galaxy for bits and pieces.

Hmmm, me only getting 1-2 mill a day in my shop. (1 SW 1 DE)
Is that 10 mill a day per person or gross corperation profit?
Mabey instead of buying out neghbors..... bring them into my store?

that's 10M for me on average a day... the others do custom work and typically make 1-2M per shift in custom made walk-in orders.
(oh, and we used to be the largest power broker in our galaxy, but gave that up in favor of shipyards which are much more profitable than power ever was, so we do keep in all 'in-house' except for droid stuff which we subcontract out for pennies and mark up massively.)
