I was wondering what are good prices to charge on Starsider. I have all my goods currently priced at 2.5cpu or less. Is this a good price range, or should I go cheaper.

I charge 5cpu for chassis, and 10cpu for components.
I'm pretty happy with the money I make, and the frequency of customers.

I'm at about the same, though I charge a little less than 5 for low end chassis...components are in the 10 cpu area.

I charge 4 cpu for chassis and about 16 cpu for components. I use the best resources I can possibly find for components, though, so my business stays pretty steady.
I know Coronet spammers offer wps to 2 cpu ships, but I just make sure mine have at least the standard mass and keep a few up for conveniences' sake. I only sell a few a week, but it's been clear for a while that, for full-fledged shipwrights, chassis aren't going to be the bulk of our profits.

I figure that's crazy cheap, and I'll be sending customers your way if you keep a good stock. ![]()
I've recently decided to retire from Shipwright, apart from favors for friends and such, and if you can keep going at 2.5cpu, more power to ya. ![]()

I dropped by the original poster's vendor to investigate whether these were prices for everything or just ships, and it appears the question was only for ship chassis. So I'd say yes, 2.5 cpu is a good price--the lowest I've seen anywhere is 2 cpu, so you should be competitive. Definitely got lower prices than some of us, heheh.
