I mastered shipwright within a week of JTL going live (was late in starting the resource grind), I like the SW crafting system, but after a week or two, SW seemed like more work than fun....and I've stopped making ships. I'm considering dropping it for this reason. Anyone out there feel this way too?
All crafting professions have this element. You do end up doing simillar chores to a real life job. Depends if you like it or not.

I know what you mean I mastered shipwright the day after JTL came out and trying to keep a vendor stocked those 1st 2/3 weeks was VERY VERY difficult. I was virtualy crafting all the time i was playing and thats was A LOT. I stoped makeing ships very early as soon as i reaslised that resource quality had very little effect on mass and people where selling that at 1cpu.

Not I.
I'm slowly chugging along. Have had JtL since lauch day, and chose not to power grind, because I knew it would burn me out.
I'm currently 4,4,3,4 and in no rush to get the last 2 boxes. I'm still having fun...except that over 5000 loot items later...still not one single Firespray fragment. lol

Nah - the chassis making is the best bit ![]()
Don't have to worry about resources, pick up whatever is cheep and still send them off at a profit.

No but I strongly encourage feelings like these as it cuts down on my competition.

No, this is not true. All other crafting professions have full factory support, that gives time for friends. The only thing I am doing on the server where I play my SW is crafting, I no longer have time for hunting with my friends. Even chatting is not always possible as I am handling several talks with different customers at once the moment I log in (no, I am not charging 1-3 cpu for my components or chassis!).
And I can tell you that this is hard work.
This will hopefully change soon because one of my guildmates just hit master so that he can help me with the components.

Hmmm.....I'm sorry Arg0nus about the FS disks.
