I have my paint kits at 1500 eaand repair kits at 1000 ea Is this too high? I was having a tough time deciding how well the repair tools would sell. Thanks for any feed back. (These are not in crates just 1 prototype).

I get 5k for repair kits and texture kits and 12.5k for paint kits.
I only sell repair kits in crates, the others I offer in singles, but 5 paint for 60k seems to sell well too.
I know that seems high, but I stock these items as a convenience item, not a high turnover product I feel like selling hundreds of a day - I'm too busy hand crafting to price and sell repair kits one at a time for 2k - hehe.
If you want to be more competitive, I'd suggest 10-20cpu for these items.

I go like 3K on texture kits and 5K on paint kits. None of these things are where I make most of my money, but I figure the resource cost/convenience to me on the paint stuff is really nice, so I don't need to go charging an arm and a leg for those.
My chassis are all 4 cpu, as I have to buy my resources for them. This is twice as much as many people on Starsider are selling for, but I like having everything under one roof. I figure the people that need to comparison shop will get their chassis elsewhere--I often recommend other shipwrights' chassis to people who are clearly on a budget--but those who would rather spend their money than their time might be more likely to turn into repeat customers if they know they can come to my place and always find whatever they need.

I sold my grind chasis for 3cpu.
As a Master I get 5cpu for Tier 1-4 ship chasis and 900k-1million (6cpu+)ea for Master level ships depending on my mood. (I charge more for Master ships due to the large amount of resources tied up in them just to have them in stock)
Components I have a backwards reverse scale - I charge more for low level parts cpu wise. I get 25k/45/75k/100k/160k for Mark I-V with an upgrade. The few items I sell without an upgrade are priced at 15k/30k/60k/80k/125k for Mark I-V.
I get 8cpu for missiles and 10cpu for countermeasures. This seems to be market rate about everywhere.
I charge more for paint/textures as I described above.
My prices are at the low end of the high priced Shipwrights and my stats are in the top 5 for my server.

5 cpu for chassis with grinding resources, 10 cpu for those with high quality resourses, everything else at 20 cpu. My missiles and counter measures sell well so I cannot say that 8 or 10 cpu would be the going rate for them.

This is very dependent on the economy of the server you are on. What might be reasonable on one server, might be completely unreasonable on another.
I think part of being a good merchant in this game is constantly checking out what others are charging. You don't want to set your prices too low, as this just hurts yourself and other shipwrights. You don't want to set your prices too high, as you'll never sell anything.
