Just wondering if anyone has firgured out if the stats for being one of the new space races hammerhead or sulastions worth it or are all the races pretty much the same?

Well, as far as i know, one of the new species has got special extra SW related mods.

I've created an Ithorian alt.
They have +10 to a few shipwright assembly mods.

They only get a small increase in the chance to get great and amazing successes during assembly of some items. IMO this is basically worthless. So pick the species you like and don't worry about skill mods.

Yeah, the +10 on assembly is pretty much useless. Too bad the new races weren't treated better to give some real incentives to take them on (this is being said by someone who created an Ithorian the day JTL launched). Despite the rumors that were floating around (and some moronic barkers I've seen), no extra experimentation points are given to either Ithor's or Sull's.

You're missing the purdiness of the Ithorian! Just look at Sentinel armour helmets - who wouldnt like wearing one of those beasts?
