Thread: Quickshot upgrades broken?

I've been crafting dozens of blasters in the last few days and haven't noticed an issue.
Experimentaion on ROF seems to be working normally.

I decided to try crafting some really fast blasters for my Oppressor.
I got the following results on my Quick shot upgrade 5:
Refire Rate: -0.06724
Energy Per Shot: 3.912889
Used extremely good resources for the Experimental Blaster, bonus food, yadda yadda yadda. I wound up with weird stats after the initial combine. Energy per shot and rector drain were 27% initally and Refire Rate was at 10%. I don't recall where my refire rate capped as a percentage but it was in the neighborhood of 50%.
This is starting to sound like a general crafting bug, like the one that plagues the new ROTW ship components.
Hey, on the upside I'm only out 7500 units of rare resources I can't replace and at least I got double xp for it...

What was the conductivity on your steel? Refire rate is 50% CD 50% OQ.

If you have quite a few stacks of resources in your inventory like I do when I'm stocking vendors, might you have accidently loaded the wrong resource? I do that often when I'm crafting. I made quite a few just fine tonight so no problem in that area here.

Was able to make .251 Experimental Ion ( luck ) and steady stream of .259 Advanced Lasers, Ions, Disruptors without a problem. Check your resources as mentioned, you may have accidentaly put the wrong one in.

Mark IV, refire rate + - 0,275

Hrm.
I had a nice little tirade going on, then I decided to craft another blaster with the resources I was listing as used in the botched blaster. /sigh
This one turned out with a refire of 0.252 and 28.1 energy per shot, which is a lot closer to what I'd expected. I must have, as you suggest, used the wrong steel by mistake. That hurts too, as I'm really low on my good carbonate ore.
