Thread: Perhaps the new ships don't unbalance, but rather are just the first phase of a new balance?

Well, I was under the beleif that the new ships really screwed with the balance of the game... perhaps I was wrong, shortsighted...

Rather, what if this was the first phase of a new balance to all ships?

I mean, compare all of the new ships and forget about the old ships for a momment.

The light ships like the Z-95, mid ships like the Heavy X-wing, light ships like the JSF, when compared against each other do apear to have balance.

So, now make more ship schimatics like a heavy version of the A-wing and a more manuverable version of the B-wing using asteroid, and of course new versions of Neutral and Imperial ships as well. Now, all of these advanced models are balanced against each other.

So, perhaps this is just the first phase of a new balance using loot and asteroid enhanced ships. Allowing for greater mass and diversity to the game?

Eh, just a thought, but if I am right I am now much more hopefull and will wait patiently for my new Advanced A-wing, hehe.

Who knows what plans are in the future? We can only predict eh?

I like your line of thought though. As I've always believed, a game like this one continues to change. There must be plans on the drawing board for stuff that will not hit live for months and months. I suspect that when we see something hit test, it has been in the works for a long time.

I would bet my speeder's pink slip that we have not seen the last new ship.
