Hello,
As an armorsmith I make enough money, but I am on the verge of crackign with armorsmith, and wanted to go FULL blown with Shipwright.
Wanted to know if it is worth dropping AS, and going SW. Reason why I ask if its expensive is, resources..There not cheap, but I got a few "dealers" at my disposal.
I mean, I have been charging about 2-15cpu latley, and I see it as a VERY profitable bussniess, but I here diffrent..
Thanks for the thoughts guys

well i made an insane amount of cash as an Armorsmith i wont lie to you. My first full week as a Shipwright made me more cash than any full month as an Armorsmith

if you can make uber stun composite armor then im sure as can make you lots of cash however with everyone somewhat ignoring the gcw and going into space you can make the same amount of cash just faster with shipwright. and with you chassis, quality of resources only matter somewhat.

Profitable, yes. But if you're in it for the money, stick with AS. You have to love SW to enjoy it, due to the time investment and the floods of questions and so forth. And it's worth warning, that you shouldn't expect it to be ANYTHING like AS is. It's a whole new beast, and i think the majority of the people that complain the loudest about SWs tend to be people that are used to the way WS or AS or such work. So, I throw out that caveat.

Yea it does take a special amount of pride to sit in front of my crafting station 5 hours a day tweaking and testing and grinding out massive weapons by hand. I love it! And I do get out twice a week to check harvesters!!!! Now if only I had some way to deal the the voritors that hang out between my house and my factories.

yes there is monye to be made. i have made 30 million in the last 3 days. only thing is once you run out of the resources that you stocked up on over the summer good luck buying more for any sort of reasonable price. i am probably going to be dropping 20 mil or so today just resource hunnting.
Yea and I've found a workaround for this, peeps who cannot afford the high end ships are renting me out 5 lots for a month, I'm now managing over 115 harvesters, 65 of which I have on a nice steel concentration.
