Granted, I've done more flying then crafting but I've always had SOMETHING on my vendor. Now personally, I'm smart enough to hit eshields and start hypering while dodging like mad when I get into trouble. I'm 4443 and I've died maybe twice.
So, are your sales still strong? I run into people who say they have to buy a new chassis because thier current ones are down to less then 100 HP max. One thing that I think I'll sell a lot of even into the future is armor plating.

I couldn't keep up with the demand... and I've been on vacation this week! Of course, I've also done some piloting, but I will have to dedicate my next day off to restocking (I figure by then most of my guild will be ready for higher level components).

Sales of chassis are still ok, but component sales are drying up fast do to looted components being equal to or superior to anything we can manufacture.

interestingly its the other way round for me - chassis sales are really dry, but i cant keep up with the demand for defensive systems (weapons, armour, shields etc)

It sems to vary from server to server. e.g. on our server, the Poly rags and fermionic ore were very nice. So the stuff crafted using thos has been of very high quality. As such I cannot keep upw ith demand
Capacitors and engines tend to be equal or better when looted - but I still get requests for them. Doin a lot of tweaked orders for ppl too. e.g. "I would like a fast recharge shield witha some exp put into the mass' or 'Can I have a max damage blster with oweered EPS' That kind of thing.

Everything higher than Scyks, Z-95s, and TIE/LD just vaporizes off my vendor. I can't keep up.
I don't even bother with components. Well, I put proton packs on the bazaar at 6k each, and sell 25-30 a day, but that's about it.

I have loaded my vendor up with loads of y-wings and ties and also some LP and imp equiv with x-wings and imp equiv.
They dont sell. i am barking in coronet and my vendor is 800m away.
the prices are like:-
50k for y-wing
110k for LP
150k For x-wing
Aslo same for imp equiv.
Now are these prices to high or is it as i am on Chimeara and people havent got the game yet?
On another note, there really is not much diff between novice and master when it comes to chassis - an extra 2k mass on 165k is not worth the extra time to experiment never mind use top resources (unless you use it yourself-lol)

I have a very small base of retail customers, and realistically, that's all I can keep up with. However, I am the main shipwright for a guild of 50 members, and they constantly need things, which I dish out for free (THey bring me the resources, I combine them into a final item).
I also do not stock a vendor. I make my items to order. So a I post on the forums to email me orders, and I work on them that way. I'm also a little on the slow side. I want to fly too, darn it.

Chassis decay so fast and the HP arnt recoverable, so a lot of people now are just starting to get ships made from cheap resources with experimented mass. I know I will be for my next one, the decay on chassis is a joke and isnt needed for anyones sake (SW get a ton of expensive stuff to sell). I means whats the point in using top resources on something thats going to be useless after a few repairs/deaths? Its like getting killed in un-insured comp armor x100 with the resists dropping every time and not being able to repair it.

I'm getting great sales. I sat in my shop and crafted non-stop for the first three days. I kept selling out. My advertising and word of mouth business shot my sales through the roof. During the end of the first week, I dropped off a bit because I was working and couldn't stock. So I pushedmy special orders and increased my customer base through hard work.
I cannot keep up with chassis sales, but there are a lot of grinders still, so I either let them have the sales, or I buy out chassis that are way-underpriced (one guy was selling all chassis for 5k...lol).
I just spent 4-5 hours last night doing a full restock. I have eased up on engine crafting, as I have a lot of looted ones that are better than craftable. I also stopped making boosters and caps, since none of my builds can come close to looted level 2s. Other than that, all of my builds beat looted stuff.
I find that using the enhancements is a great way to make excellent ship components. I continue to do well in my sales, due to my dedication to my initial customer base.
Treat the customers with respect and make them what they are looking for and they will come, their friends will come from the word of mouth.

My computer broke down for 4 days and I sold over 900 components valued at around 10 mil by the time i got back. Have spent most of the weekend restocking, but since launch Id say ive made over 34 mil in revenue, but net profit is small so far because I spent so much before launch getting resources.

if anything, i would say they are too low! I have around 12 or 13 heavy harvestors going round the clock, and they are really only producing enough every day for my defence system sales - im having to buy steel to make ships, and the prices on flurry are ridiculous - its costing me 240k in steel alone to even make an x-wing, which im selling for 300k and still losing 50k on each ship..
