I have been looking but cannot find it (and now have a headache)... do you have to have other crafting skill to be a Shipwright (ie Artisan 4.0.0.0) or is this like pilot where it is basically a free tree?

You need engineering 4 and 30k General crafting xp
You need skill points as for any other elite crafting prof (so not like pilot) and trainer costs are the same as well (so 5k for Novice)

Thanks!
Does anyone have a link to a character builder that includes the Shipwright tree?

Yeah, Kodan's Editor rocks. But, you know you can check the boxes in-game, right? even if you dont have the skill

Looking for a character builder with the Shipwright tree in it. Anyone know where I can find one? Or at least a copy of the tree?

just substitute anyone of the elite crafting skills for shipwright that branches off the 4000 artisan template.
the skill point requirements are the same as any other elite crafting skill.

Thanks for the link.
I was looking for the specifics on each box not just the points involved. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Yeah, but I need something for when I am at work and need to figure stuff out instead of actually doing work.
