With Chassis sales dropping signifigantly ive been thinking of ways to make my shipwright business self sufficient as of now im still 4/3/2/2 so im looking for ways to get my business going again. Once i got up to X-Wing on the rebel pilot tree i came to the problem of having a crappy reactor and not being able to find a decent one at any of my competitors... Ive crafted a few overdriven reactors which hit around 14000-15000 that can be used by tier 2 pilots/tier 3 pilots... which i know would work fine for me...
But enough of the story telling would it be worth using my JTL Radioactive material on crafting a dozen or so Reactors to test the market or should i hold out on selling parts until i can craft decent weapons/engines?
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

I sell plenty of reactors. Well-crafted, with overchargers, they are better than 99% of looted reactors.
In particular, my 19k energy output Mark Vs are popular with master pilots for their PoB ships.

there is a pretty good market for mkI and II reactors if you ask me, but you have to be pretty good at crafting them. i myself would look for around 12k output on the mkI and 13k on the mkII. people like me who run engine overload4 in the awing/tie-advanced need lightweight high output reactors.

yes reactors go fast thru the community cause there always being decayed from overload 4 and usually are the first comp to get hit after armor is blown- more decay; always in demand.

I sell a great deal of reactors. These and shields are probably my two best selling components. (I sell a lot of weapons, too, but in my experience these are just holdovers for pilots until they RE better ones.) If you can get them up to the level described (12K for level 1s, 13K for level 3s, etc), you should do a pretty brisk business.

You'll always be able to get better RE reactors, but yes, crafted reactors sell as well.

At least on my server crafted reactors kick bootay!
If you use good resources and use subcomponents, your reactors will rock and people will pass up the loot. If you make a good reactor people will be able to downgrade their exisiting reactor to use a lower one and still have left over power.
