With the 15% xp increase provided by the new buffs, a recalculation of the resources required might be in order.

Simply put, you're probably better off doing what I'm doing - contract someone who makes their living mining for the steel and ore, mine the Aluminum, Petro, Iron, and Fiber yourself. Five BER13 harvs on a 70-ish spot on the first day to shift-out will net you MORE than 500k.

Taken directly from the Shipwright FAQ:

  • How do I grind Shipwright?
Chassis. You get 1/4 xp per resource in Shipwright, and Chassis are big, very very big. Here's the breakdown:
    1. 16 Tier 0 [Z-95, TIE-LD, Syck] ships to 1000
    2. 13 Tier 1 [Y-wing, TIE-F, Dunelizard] ships to 2000
    3. 13 Tier 2 [Y-wing LP, TIE-I/N, Kihraxz/Kimogila] ships to 3000
    4. 10 Tier 3 [X-Wing, TIE-B/TIE-I, Ixiyen] ships to 4000
    5. 55 Tier 4 [A-Wing, TIE-Adv, Rihxyrk] ships to Master
Total Resources: 2.253m Steel, 581k Aluminum, 1.146m Ore, 581k Inert Petro, 539k Iron, 539k Fiberplast

Note, if you choose to do it in non practice mode you'll need 4 additional Tier 4 ships which comes to 128k steel, 64k Ore, 32k Alum/Inert Petro/Iron/Fiberplast. This will help you recoup the costs on your resources as you can sell the chassis. There is not much difference between a chassis made with great resources, and that made with grind resources, so there is definitely a market for this
