I know servers vary a lot but I'm curious what people are paying/charging for asteroid resources. Lately I've been having a lot of fun mining but I don't need to tell anyone how time consuming it is for such a small amount of resources.
No flames please, I'm just curious what other shipwrights think.

I was charging 50 cpu for items made w/ asteroid resources but am now charging 80 cpu... I mine my own. There are SW's on my server paying 70cpu for asteroid resources... so obviously they'll be charging anywhere from 100 - 200 cpu for the items

It will vary per server, based on demand of items that use the resources and the economy on the server. On Chilastra it varies from 100-250 CPU depending on what asteroid resource. The demand for vehicle restoration kits has driven up the price of carbonaceous and petrochemical asteroid.

I did start out mining my own and selling about 30cpu. Until I noticed that the same people were buying up my entire stocks and selling them for 100cpu!!
Now I still mine my own and set the selling price right bang in the middle of the average sale on the galactic vendor search. I'll pay up to 75-80% of the lowest price I sell stuff for - ie: mining gear 100cpu, vehicle repair kits 300cpu- I'll pay 75-80cpu, even for the stuff that sells at 300cpu.
I don't like to rip people off - but there's no way I'm subsidising other merchants making stuff for them to buy and fleece customers. If you're a loyal customer I've been known to offer deals on items. And if you collect your own roids, I'll put it together for a nominal charge.

It has also driven up the demand for mining gear.

I offer 75 cpu and have about 4-5 mineres working for me. I always buy and they like that. Most on the server offer 100 cpu, but I don't think they are on as often... or maybe my miners don't know better...

Wow, I'm under charging; I'd been selling crates of 400 on theauction terminalsfor the quick 20k. LOL, no wonder they normally never lasted more than an hour.
