I have a potential customer who wants to know if a TIE Advanced works for mining. I assume it will take a Largo Cargo Hold, but does it have enough weapons slots for Mining Laser, Tractor, and a standard weapon?

The TIE Advanced has 2 weapon slots. So you'll have to sacrifice either the Tractor Beam or the support weapon. I use a Tractor Beam. The Mark III Mining Laser is around the equivalent of a Mark III weapon, I find that I can get myself out of most pirate situations without the support weapon.
All ship masses, weapon loadout, and PYR values.

yeah if mining in low danger areas such as naboo/tat/corelia an MkIII mining laser and tracotr beam would do. In more dangerous areas such as kessel i would reccomend 2 mkIII mining lasers

Hehe, I use my Mark III ML for every area (I haven't mined on Kessel yet though) and that's in a dunelizard. No "support weapon"

I love the TA for mining. Nice and nimble. And if pirates become too irksome, I just BS them.
