Thread: How do you get the heavy x wing

I know it involves missions out of kashyyk but people have told me differant things. How do you get the advanced x-wing is it with eyma and the space station missions? or the avatar platform. If its the civil protection stuff with eyma im confused because ive finished eymas quests and im now doing the mission where you escort a freighter for the rebel outpost to get the rebel holo.

Check out the FAQ in the pilot forum. Has a description of how to get all the ROTW ships.
edited for hint: it's not just the rebel holo you get from that mission

its a rebel quest ship, you hav eto complete the quest to get the ship, ast mission is to disable a corvette so best to get some friends to help but it is solable.

Short answer:
After completing the mission you are doing (escorting the freighter to the rebel base to get the Rebel Insignia hologram), /comm the rebel station again and it will offer you another quest.
You must intercept a stolen corvette in the Kashyyyk sector, clear the escort, disabled and after the crew recaptures it, escort it to the Rebel Base, defending it against waves of fighters AND gunboats. When the corvette reaches safety, you will have completed the quest and you'll be awarded the Advanced X-wing DEED (why couldn't his have been a limited-uses schematic
)
You will find more info in the Pilot forum, but be aware that the corvette you are escorting can be destroyed by other players and you cannot do a damn thing about it. Happened to me last week
Just keep trying if this happens to you (the guy was reported by harrasment but as usual, they did nothing abut it).
