Has anyone heard whether there are going to be any +Assembly clothign attachments added to the game anytime soon?
The reason I ask is that I am assembling a suit for a friend of mine, and since there are three separate disciplines (Engine, Chassis, and Weapon Systems) if i were to socket one set of clothing, it would probably fill up most all of the sockets, since all of the commonly available attachments have one or two non-essential mods on them. If at a later date,assembly tapes did come out, there would be no room for them in that suit of clothing.
Have any of you made (or would you reccomend making) three sets of clothing - one each for Engine, Chassis, and Weapon Systems. That way, if assembly attachments are added to the game at a later date, the suit would be able to be made complete for each discipline.
What do you think would be best?

I'm afraid bringing Assembly tapes into SW would raise a *&^% storm. It's already ridiculous that we need 3 different experimentation tapes andnone of those tapes work for DI's or Shield (which I have a failure or two on nearly everyone of these I make with a buff). We also don't have assembly / experimentation aprons. Therefore, if they required us to have more CA's that we cannot afford, there would be an uprising beyond belief because we'd have nowhere to put them.

yes, they're called Engine, Chassis, and Weapon Systems Experimentation. Each of them are effective up to +25 and none of them work for DI's or Shields.

what exactly are skill tapes? and do they and buffs really effect the quality of your product vs someone on their own unbuffed and just crafting.

What are DIs?

DI = Droid Interfaces
Essentially the tapes work the same as for any crafting profession. You get 1 extra experimentation point for each 10 point bonus. So if you have 20 pts bonus in Engines you get 17 experimentation points instead of 15.
