I usually am carrying around a few RE's lvl1-2 parts in my inventory that I just haven't had time to drop off at the chassis dealer. This past weekend I noticed something odd, all their names have changed to Prototype Armor, Prototype Weapon, Prototype Capacitor, and so on.
Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I just not paying attention and it's mere coincidence?
Thanks!

Prototype parts are those taken out of the current starter ships, they aren't REable so could you have picked them up by mistake?

I don't disassemble my starter ships. But maybe I got them from people who sell me their space loot. And of course I sift through those parts with no RE lvl listed, and I am sure these fall into that catagory.
Thanks Red!

What I hate people selling prototype stuff on the bazaar and when they try to sell the parts for 20k is when I get mad :/

What's wrong with that? Crafted starter ships have about 1k more mass, which may not sound like alot, but it can
mean the difference between a good loadout and a bad, especially if you don't have enough to buy a heavy variant.

Agreed, particularly since a lot of Rebels hold out till 3322 to get their X-Wings.
