Thread: Old Subject, but still need clarification please. SW SEA's
All I can say on this matter is that in the whole Unique factor of being a Shipwright. The SEA aspect of Shipwright is the only thing that confuses me as well.... why make it multiple SEAs and then not give us the full set of them? I would rather 1 of 2 things happen....
1. Make current SEA become -
(Offense) Weapon Systems Experimentation, Propulsion Systems Experimentation, (Defense) Chassis Systems Experimentation.
2. Give us the ones we need.
With inspiration buff, my +15 tool and +44 station, I get maybe 1 failure on 1 of 8-10 components with no tape. I should really move to a research center. I'd also like to do the FS experimentation line.

You get at least one failure every time in either the DI or the upgrade? Do you have an inspiration buff? What is the quality of your tool and crafting station? Are you in a research center? That's a lot of waste. I generally destroy the part when I get a failure.

Appreciate the advice, but I have all of that and still get failures often. Probably not most, like I said, but at leastone third to onehalf ofall non-CA enhanced products. I exaggerate too much sometimes, but it's still way too much in my opinion.

Welcome to being the SOE crafting experiment. lol When they get time, they might look at it again. Don't hold your breath. We need 3 CA's that do not cover all of what we make. We get no Assemble CA's. We can do nothing with our experience once we make master. We have very limited factory support, They give away usable components and if you do not need them, they will buy them back. You need an Uber ship go here kill this, I wish I could do that for Uber resources. Then load it up with looted RE'd parts. Oh, most SW RE for free on the off chance they will one day get all the disks they need to make a crappy ship. lol Oh, not to mention the behind the scenes tweaking for balance. I have a full suit, craft in reasearch city, have the best tools and station that can be made, Use Uber resources (nothing below 950) and get crit fails and good successes all the time on some components. Fair? No. Just the way it is.
Do I sense some bitterness? ![]()
I knew many things I would have to accept before becoming a SW, but the experimentation issues and no assembly enhancements at all was not learned until later. The most discouraging thing about it is the amount of resources needed for a part, just to throw it awayfrom a single failure because we don't have enough experimentation points to keep it worth saving.
